Privacy Policy

Platten Industries ("we") runs rareresources.net. This policy describes what happens to information about you when you visit. It is short because the site collects very little.

1. What this site collects

Nothing directly. There are no accounts, sign-ups or forms, and the site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.

The question box on the Connect page runs entirely in your browser. What you type is matched against figures already on the page; it is not sent to us or stored.

2. Hosting

The site is delivered through Cloudflare. To serve and protect it, Cloudflare processes technical request information such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is handled under Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not use it to identify or profile visitors.

3. Files your browser fetches from other providers

Some pages load files from third parties. When your browser requests them, those providers receive your IP address and browser details:

• Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com): the site's typefaces, on every page.
• jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net): the Chart.js charting library, on the Home and Trends pages.
• Wikimedia (upload.wikimedia.org): topic pictures on the Trends page.

4. If you email us

If you write to platten.industries@gmail.com, we use your address and message only to reply. We do not sell or share them. Ask us at any time to delete your correspondence.

5. Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

6. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
